I ALREADY DIED ONCE ;
I had a heart attack and open heart surgery ; That was the wake-up call to get me (mostly) past the ADD that both informed my work and distracted me ; I never knew until shortly before that event that ADD was why my brain had always worked differently ; When I was growing

I ALREADY DIED ONCE ;
I had a heart attack and open heart surgery ; That was the wake-up call to get me (mostly) past the ADD that both informed my work and distracted me ; I never knew until shortly before that event that ADD was why my brain had always worked differently ; When I was growing up (3 million years ago) , no one knew it existed ; Everything in my thoughts was visual , and frequently came to me fully formed ;
I worked toward part of a master’s in studio art (painting , sculpture , photography) at Ohio State almost 40 years ago ; I moved to New York , worked and painted , and then moved back to Ohio for family ; I never stopped working on art , though I had some very interesting (and distracting) jobs , and now have focused my efforts and honed my direction ;
Nearly all of my current work is created photographically , and is NOT computer generated ; I’ve created techniques of manipulating the camera in my iPad to create images that do not exist in nature ; I then work with those images to create something altogether different and unique ; Many of these works are large 4-image creations that are basically photographic paintings ;
